Dear Friends,
Here I am with my first post. I am writing to you from my home in Verona, everything is ready and packed for my trip to Entebbe tomorrow morning.
I will try to update you as often as possible on my experience in Kalongo, sharing with you my stories and feelings, with the hope that one day you will decide to provide your little support to the amazing work that so far the Foundation Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital has done to keep functioning the Hospital in Kalongo, and giving the possibility to a lot of children, ladies and men in Kalongo, to survive, day by day.
This is the link to the website of the
Foundation:http://www.fondazioneambrosoli.it/ ,and you can also follow their actitivies on
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/groups/215385275158374/.
Last summer 2010 Federico Pippo, an MBA student like me, decided to give his contribution to the Foundation during his summer internship and this is the blog he created on that occasion: http://kalongo2010.blogspot.com/
This was just a quick introduction to me and to the purpose of the blog. I hope I managed to catch your attention and curiosity...I will keep you posted along the way...now time for bed, the mountain of Kalongo is waiting for my arrival!
